Doctors across city lines

Huntington Beach sits at the northern edge of Orange County, and some residents see providers in neighboring areas, including cities across the county line. Whether those providers work with a plan depends on that plan's network, not on where you live.

I check your doctors and hospital under each plan I show you, so you can decide with the facts in front of you instead of finding out after you enroll.

Common questions

Medicare questions from Huntington Beach residents

Does it matter that some of my doctors are in another county?

It can. Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are offered by county, and each plan has its own network. I check the plans available at your address and look up each of your doctors under them.

What if my plan's network changes?

Your plan has to tell you in writing each fall. If it affects your doctors, Annual Enrollment (October 15 to December 7) is the time to look at other plans. Changes start January 1.

I'm turning 65. When should I start?

Your Initial Enrollment Period starts 3 months before the month you turn 65. Starting early gives you time to review your options without rushing.

What does it cost to work with you?

Nothing. The insurance company pays me a commission, not you, so your premium is the same whether you enroll through me or directly with Medicare. There's no fee for a consultation, a plan review, or the yearly check-in.
